FAQ's

  • Do you accept card payments? Yes, the shop, trees and the grotto all have card facilities, however, due to our rural location, a stable internet connection cannot be guaranteed so it can usually be quicker to pay with cash.

  • Is there on-site parking? Yes, we have ample free parking on site.

  • Do you have disabled access? Yes, we are disabled & wheelchair friendly with access in & out & plenty of room to move around the shop. The Christmas tree fields however are not suitable due to uneven & sometimes muddy ground. 

  • Are there toilets? Yes, our toilet facility is located adjacent to the carpark, next to our Accomodation.

  • Is there food or drink available to purchase? Throughout selected weekends in November & December, we have a local food & drink supplier selling a selection of hot & cold snacks, beverages & confectionery and from time to time there are rides for small children (not by Redhouse Christmas Barn & additional charges apply)

  • Do I need to book entry to Santa’s Grotto? No booking is necessary, we regularly have availability, just turn up & our elves will be there to guide you to Santa.

  • What do I get visiting the grotto? You get to spend time with Santa and receive a gift. Babies in buggies can accompany other children for free although will not receive a gift. Adults/carers accompanying paying children/entrants are free but will not receive a gift.

  • Can I bring my dog? We will not allow dogs inside any of the buildings with the strict exception of assistance dogs only.

  • How much do your trees cost? Our home-grown award-winning Christmas trees range in price from £10 upwards depending on what breed & the size you are after. All freshly cut trees are individually priced.​

  • Can I choose my own tree? We have a selection of freshly cut trees every day on display outside the shop which you can choose to be netted & takeaway there & then, should you not like what we have on display & want something a little bigger,  you are welcome to wander among our fields & choose the right tree for you which will be cut down upon request. These trees are not priced but a member of staff will be happy to get you a cost should you want to cut one down on the day. 

  • Can I buy a rooted tree? No, due to the time it takes to dig a tree with roots we are no longer able to offer rooted trees. However, we now offer a limited number of potted trees that can be planted in your garden. You’ll find these outside the shop. 

  • We're not sure a tree will fit in our car, can you deliver? Delivery of larger trees can be arranged for a date in the week that is suitable and will be charged accordingly as per the delivery location. 

  • Can I bring a coach trip / large group? Yes, large groups are welcome however please get in touch with us via Facebook or call to let us know when you are planning to visit so that we can accommodate you in the carpark. 

  • Can I stay on site? Stay in one of our 3 luxury holiday cottages on-site, each with its own hot tub! (Contact us to find out more)​​​

  • We love the Barn, Can we get married there? The barn is available to hire for Weddings and Events. Please visit our sister site Two Hoots Barn for more details.
